Write a codebook and paste responses, one per line.

Qualitative Coder
Build a codebook, code each response, see code frequencies and co-occurrence, and check intercoder agreement with Cohen's kappa.
Start coding. Accept or reject keyword suggestions.
Review frequencies; export CSV or compare with a second coder.
Add text or try the sample. Everything runs on this device; nothing is uploaded.
Set up your codebook.
Your coding is saved automatically in this browser only (IndexedDB) so you can close the tab and continue later. Nothing is uploaded.
Code the responses.
A dashed chip means a codebook keyword appears in the response but the code is not applied yet.
Code frequencies.
Co-occurrence.
How many responses carry both codes.
Intercoder agreement.
Method & interpretation.
Keyword suggestions match whole words (with short endings, e.g. deadline → deadlines) and are only prompts; you decide every code. Cohen's kappa compares your coding with a CSV exported from this tool by a second coder, per code, matched by response number; values above 0.6 are commonly read as substantial agreement (Landis & Koch 1977).
