Software that works where the internet doesn't.

We build research tools and games for people whose only computer is the phone in their pocket. Everything runs on the device. Nothing is uploaded.

of corpus methods without a laptop, Dailwind tools run entirely offline and
sensitive data never leaves the phone. Dailwind was founded in Multan, Pakistan,
where reliable connectivity is not given. Dailwind builds for that reality first.

What we make

Released

LinguaX Arc

A complete corpus analysis toolkit for Android. Concordancing, collocation, keyness, and part-of-speech tagging — with no server and no connection required.

In development

LinguaX Series

Further tools for linguists and language researchers, built on the same principle: the analysis happens on your machine, not ours.

Planned

Dailwind Games

Small, offline-playable games for mobile. More to come.

Why offline

Most research software assumes a laptop, a stable connection, and permission to upload your data to somebody else's server. For a large part of the world, all three assumptions fail at once.

A student in Multan may own a phone and nothing else. A fieldworker recording interviews may have no signal for days. A researcher working with legal or clinical transcripts may be contractually forbidden from uploading them anywhere.

Building offline-first solves all three at once. It is also simply better software: faster, private by construction, and it keeps working when everything else stops.
