About Dailwind Studio

Dailwind Studio was founded by Arslan Tahir Qureshi, a PhD scholar in English Linguistics at Emerson University Multan.

How it started

The first product, LinguaX Arc, came out of a practical problem. Corpus linguistics depends on software — concordancers, collocation tools, keyness calculators — and nearly all of it is built for desktop computers or for the browser. Neither option is available to many of the students and researchers who most need these methods.

The tools were built first for a doctoral project analysing a ten-million-word corpus of television subtitles, then rebuilt for anyone facing the same constraints.

What we build toward

• On-device processing. Your data stays on your hardware. Not a setting — how the software is built.
• No connection required. Everything works in airplane mode, on a bus, in a village, during an outage.
• Open where it can be. Source code is published so researchers can inspect the methods behind the numbers they report.

Research use

Dailwind software is archived with permanent DOIs so it can be cited in academic work. Citation details are on each product page.
