CORPUS COMPOSITION

Words by genre.

DOCUMENT SCALE

Your largest texts.

02 / REVIEW YOUR FILES

The collection, file by file.

IncludeTitle / fileGenreWordsStatusDetails

Charts, totals and downloads use included records, even if a search hides them. Error rows stay visible in exports, with counts blank. Unique-word counts belong to individual files; they are not added into a claimed corpus-wide vocabulary.

03 / MAKE IT YOURS

Your fields. Your export.

Choose individual columns

Excel includes Summary, Files, Genres and Methods sheets. CSV contains the selected columns, one file per row, with UTF-8 encoding and spreadsheet formula protection. No uploaded document is bundled with your export.

How to interpret the numbers

Words are Unicode letter/number sequences with internal hyphens and apostrophes. Unique words can be case sensitive. Sentences are punctuation-based estimates; paragraphs use blank lines. These counts can differ from Microsoft Word or another tokenizer. CoNLL and CSV files are counted as raw text, not parsed annotation or data tables. No grammatical annotation, language identification or automatic genre classification is claimed. In languages without word spacing, these are token counts, not linguistic word segmentation.

Source title, author, year, publication, URL, DOI, ISBN, language and rights are user-supplied context. Filename and first-line titles are suggestions. File modification dates describe the local file, not its publication date. Subtitle duration is the first-to-last cue span, including gaps.
